The Expression for Peace project, at Centro Cultural Recoleta, gives new significance to Pablo Picasso’s work in the intersection of his friendship with Antonio Berni, a well-known argentine artist famous for the deep social feeling of his work. Berni meets the Spanish artist by using one of his works as a social banner, showing historical, social and politic reality and context of that moment. With the same look, Mettler artist redefines that act, working from an intercultural point of view, opening a relational aesthetic proposal aiming to think about nowadays context. This work aims to aware about green issues, increasing the knowledge of these issues and inviting to build a more gentle relationship with the elements at our disposal in this world.
